In AP, Two Medicos Commit Suicide In 5 Days

Two Medicos have committed suicide within a period of 5 Days. Even before the suicide case of Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SVMC) student Shilpa was closed, Second Year MBBS Student Geethika took the extreme step due to personal issues.
Reportedly, Geethika married Sudhir Reddy, for whom it's a second marriage, against the wishes of her Family. Parents of the 18-Year-Old brought her back forcibly from her husband's place in Kadapa. The Teenager went into her room after a heated discussion with her Mother and didn't come up for several hours. Upon growing suspicious, The door was broke open with the help of neighbours and found her hanging. Doctors of Ruia Hospital declared her brought dead.
Several Medicos rushed to Ruia Hospital upon knowing about the tragedy. Chittoor District Collector BS Pradyumna reached the Hospital to know about what has happened.
Few days ago, Medico Shilpa ended her life. She took the extreme step months after complaining to Governor ESL Narasimhan about the sexual harassment by faculty members.
