Another new political party in Telangana?

With the talk of early polls renting the air, there is heightened political activity in Telangana. Now, it is now reliably learnt that another political party is going to make an entry into the already muddied political waters of Telangana. You have seen YS Sharmila’s YSRTP and ex-bureaucrat RS Praveen Kumar. Now another new party is all set to come into existence.
Popular BC activist and former MLA R Krishnaiah is all set to form a new political party. The party would keep the interests of the BCs in mind and would contest the election. R Krishnaiah says that all the political parties have duped and betrayed the BCs. Hence, there is a need for a BC political party. He said the BCs can achieve progress only when they have political power.
R Krishnaiah says that he is going to hold meetings with various caste associations and then take a final call. He said that an announcement would soon be made about the new political party and its contours. Interestingly, his party is coming at a time when the BJP and the Congress have already speeded up their activities.
The BJP is already organising the padayatra of Bandi Sanjay, while the Congress is all set to bring Rahul Gandhi to Hyderabad on May 6. The ruling TRS has already begun activating its party organisation and is gearing up for elections. YSRTP’s YS Sharmila is already on a padayatra, while RS Praveen Kumar too is busy organising massive outreach programmes.
