Another Seer's Death Case Rocks Karnataka!

In a shocking event, the seer of a popular mutt in Karnataka was found dead at the mutt. He has been heading the mutt for over two and a half decades. Reports say that he was found hanging from a window grill when the police were informed about this.
Going into detail, Basavalinga Swami, Lingayat seer of the Kanchugal Bande Mutt was found dead. It has been widely reported that the seer reportedly left a suicide letter in which he is believed to have mentioned the alleged harassment from some people.
A few reports say that the alleged harassment was recorded in an audio call. A woman spoke to the seer reportedly and harassed him. The cops are looking into the matter and probing the matter from the harassment point of view.
When the seer did not open his room door even after 6 AM, the staff at the mutt knocked on his doors and tried to invite him. With no response from the seer, the staff informed the cops and they barged into the room. Upon interesting the room, they found the seer hanging. The body was sent to postmortem.
This is the second death of a seer in the state in recent times. Back in September,Basava Siddalinga Swami, the Lingayat seer of the Sri Guru Madiwaleshwar Math was found dead. Media reports said that the seer took the extreme step unable to deal with the ill health.
Just like the previous incident, the second incident of the seer's death also created a big sensation in the state and the followers of the mutt are demanding justice in the case. They are hoping that they would get justice in the death case.
