Another setback for AP Govt, Court quashes two GOs!

The Andhra Pradesh High Court gave a big shock to the state government by quashing the orders issued by the government that aims at fixing the fees for the schools and colleges across the state. The school owners' association had approached the High Court against the Government Orders on the fees issue.
The issue came up for the hearing before the court today and the court quashed Government Orders no 53, 54 as a big relief to the owners of the educational institutions.
The advocates representing the school owners told the court that running the institutions with fewer fees is impossible and they can't provide quality education with the lesser fees. Satisfied with the arguments of the lawyers, the court had quashed the orders.
Having quashed the controversial Government Orders, the High Court also issued directives for the state government to take the opinions and suggestions of the owners of the schools and colleges into consideration and then fix the fees.
The GOs were issued by the government earlier in August to set a cap for the fees charged in colleges, schools. However, the associations which were not happy with the GOs have been fighting against the GOs in the matter. Their fight yielded a fruitful outcome for them.
