Antharvedi Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Chariot Burnt To Ashes

In a shocking incident that took place in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, the Chariot of the famous Antharvedi Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple was burnt to ashes.
It is said that the Chariot which was made 60 years ago and which is of 40 yards was burnt at night 1 am. The Temple authorities and normal people got shocked with the incident and thus doubting whether any miscreants did this act or any short circuit happened in the shed where the Chariot is placed safely.
It is normal practice by the Temple authorities to use Chariot for the Radha Yatra to take the deity around the place and then the Chariot is safe guarded in the shed. It is said that Police are investigating the incident and may question the Temple authorities soon.
