Anti-KTR Campaign In Sircilla

Several People in Nerella Village of Sircilla Constituency lost their lives after being hit by the Lorries used for illegal sand transportation. Those multiple deaths in 2017 not only created a sensation but also irked the TRS Government.
Nerella Accident Victims (Penta Banaiah, Kola Harish) launched a campaign against Minister KTR who represents Sircilla Constituency. They were touring Baddenapallym, Ramannapally and Basvapur Villages on an Auto Rickshaw to educate public.
Speaking to media, Banaiah & Harish questioned: 'How could KTR take care of people of Sircilla if he can't do justice to six people? We were harassed by the Cops. KTR came to console the victims 50 days after the incident but nothing happened even after one year. No action was taken against Cops who were responsible. SC Commission Member Ramulu demanded 5 acres of land and Rs 20 lakh compensation for the families of Nerella Victims. None of the TRS Leaders responded even after week long deekshas. Anti-TRS Campaign would continue until we get justice'.
TRS Activists argued with Cops citing Nerella Victims have been campaigning without seeking police permission. Then, Cops assured necessary action would be taken if such activities were conducted without obtaining permission. The Auto Rickshaw used by Nerella Victims was shifted to outskirts of the village until KTR left the spot.
