Anti-roja Faction Says Nagari Mla Tore Down Jagan's Banners
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Dec 2021 7:53 AM GMTWith firebrand RK Roja around, there is never a dull moment. And there is no dearth of controversies too. Roja is already at loggerheads with some local leaders and has been fighting with them over dominance in the constituency. Recently, she picked up quarrel with the rival group during the recent local body elections. She moved heaven and earth to ensure that her nominees are made the MPPs.
Now, she is fighting with her own party leaders and cadres in Nagari constituency over party supremo and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's birthday, which falls on December 21. The party is planning to celebrate Jagan’s birthday on a grand scale and the party workers have put up several posters and banners in Nagari town.
However, followers of RK Roja have allegedly torn down the banners and flexis erected by the rival group. Protesting against this, the rival group staged a dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner of Police's office in Nagari. They demanded that a case be booked against Roja. However, the police dispersed them and arrested key persons. Ammulu, a leader of anti-Roja faction too has been taken into custody.
Roja has been alleging that the rival faction is getting its support from minister from Chittoor Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. She has said that the rival faction was trying to weaken her at every step. She said that she would not tolerate those trying to belittle her and politically weaken her.
