There are many genres in the movies and the filmmakers told thousands of stories in all these genres but the craze of biopics is completely different. It is known that biopics has become a trend in Indian films in the recent past. If we talk about Bollywood, many biopics are on the sets at present. Continuing the trend, another biopic is getting ready to impress the audience.

This biopic is on the life of famous economist, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The movie 'The Accidental Prime Minister' is based on a book with the same name written by a Telugu man Sanjay Baru who worked as an advisor to former PM Manmohan Singh. Vijay Ratnakar Gutte is directing the film and senior Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is playing Manmohan Singh role in the film.

Anupam Kher shared the first look of the movie through his Twitter account. On this occasion, he said that playing the title role is a challenge for him. He said Manmohan was the Indian PM when the media was active 24X7 and the entire world knows him so he is trying to understand the character to play it as natural as possible.

Akshay Khanna is playing Sanjay Baru role in the film. German actress Suzanne Bernert is playing Sonia Gandhi role in the film. The makers are planning to release the film on December 21. The movie will cover political and economic aspects as per the reports.
