The failure of Varna was not showed any impact on Anushka career and the 5 10 inches beauty has again roped one more historical movie. According to the latest buzz, one more historical movie fell in her lap.
After Varna and Rudramadevi Anushka is all set to enact the role of Bhagmati. Anushka has been roped in for this period romantic drama.
Bhagamati is the Hindu wife of Muslim sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah who was the fifth sultan of the Golkonda region of South India in the 16th century. It is known fact that Hyderabad's original name Bhagyanagar and Quli Qutb was named it after Bhagmati.
Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah built a city named Bhaganagar in 1591 CE, to honor his love for Bhagmati. The city was built on the site of Chichlam(around Yakutpura), the native village of his wife, located 10 miles from Golconda Fort on the southern banks of Musi river.
This film will be directed by Ashok, who was popular for his film Pilla Jamindar. UV creations of Mirchi fame will be producing this movie. Anushka is currently busy with the shooting of Rudramadevi, which will be completed by April, 2014 followed by Bhagmati hitting the sets.
