AP 3 Capitals: Supreme Court shocks AP Government
X
The Andhra Pradesh government led by CM YS Jagan Mohan faced a super jolt from the Supreme Court after the court refused to hear a petition on Andhra Pradesh 3 capitals.

The state government knocked on the doors of apex court challenging the status quo issued by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on the AP Decentralisation Act and CRDA (Repeal) Acts.

The Constitution bench comprising Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice Subhash Reddy and Justice MR Shah refuse to hear the petition as the hearing in High Court is due tomorrow.

The Supreme Court directed the state government to deal the case at High Court itself and made it clear that it cannot issue orders to complete the trial within the deadline.

On the 31st of July, Andhra Pradesh Governor gave his green signal for three bills-AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of all Regions Bill-2020 and APCRDA (Repeal) Bill -2020.

Following this, the Amaravati Farmers moved the Andhra Pradesh in this regard. Since then, the trial of the much talked about bills is going on.
