AP Assembly: 3 MLAs Suspension, TDP's Walk Out!
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 July 2019 2:24 PM GMTOn Tuesday, TDP Members accused YCP Government of cheating the public who voted for YS Jaganmohan Reddy believing his poll promise. Producing a Paper Cutting, Main Opposition alleged YCP hasn't kept it's promise of pension for those above the age of 45 years.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy issued a clarification that he and his partymen aren't used to speaking lies. He reiterated every promise made to the public by YCP during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra will be fulfilled. CM had also played his poll promises video in the Assembly with the consent of Deputy Speaker Kona Raghupathi.
That is when TDP Members raised slogans and tried to disrupt the proceedings by reaching the Speaker's podium. TDP MLAs Buchaiah Chowdary, Nimmala Ramanaidu and Atchannaidu were suspended for entire session citing the disruption caused. Following which, Rest of the TDP Members staged a walk out along with Chandrababu Naidu in protest against the suspension.
Later, TDP MLAs met Deputy Speaker to request him to lift the suspension on three of their party members. YCP Government seems to be having no plan change its decision.
