AP Capital announcement delay @ Ashtami

CM Chandrababu Naidu was expected to make an official announcement on the location of AP Capital on Tuesday. However, Hi-Tech Babu decided to skip the announcement by two days as Tuesday (Ashtami) and Wednesday (Navami) aren't the best days to begin any important work. He is address the media on Thursday (Dasami) to clear the air regarding AP Capital.
During the cabinet meeting on Monday, Majority of the ministers voted for the location between Vijayawada & Guntur as the capital. As expected, State Government is least bothered about the objections raised by Sivaramakrishnan Committee when it comes to picking up Vijayawada as capital.
AP Government is planning to overcome the land acquisition issues with a 60:40 partnership with the farmers in the capital location. If problems arise because of this move, Naidu wishes to use the forest land near Nuzuveedu to building a world class capital.
To everyone's surprise, AP Government has seeked just Rs 1.5 lakh crore from Centre contrary to Sivaramakrishnan Committee's recommendation that there is requirement of Rs 4 lakh crore. Babu pointed out 50,000 acres of land is required for building a capital that could serve the needs of the people for the next 100 years.
