AP Capital deadline - 5 Years: Naidu
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Oct 2014 3:39 PM GMTAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu declared AP Capital would be built within 5 years from now after a review meeting with capital committee.
Speaking to media persons, Chandrababu announced: "We have decided to built AP Capital in 30,000 acres. Land Acquisition will be done based on land pooling method. If farmers refuse to hand over the lands, We would be using Land Acquisition Act. Land Owners will be exempted from paying stamp duty and registration fee"
As per Land Pooling: Out of 1 acre land taken from a Farmer, Government will be using only half acre for AP Capital. After developing the land, Government will be give back 1/4th acre to the farmer and till then Rs 25,000 per acre will be paid to him.
