Babu & Chinnababu...What An Embarrassment?
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Nov 2018 9:51 AM GMTPublic offer ample importance to each and every comment made by a person of CM stature. This is why anybody in such a position would have to crosscheck before commenting or passing a judgement.
The accusation made by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu & his Son Nara Lokesh on NDA Government after the inauguration of 'Statue Of Unity' in memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Gujarat drew severe criticism. An image of Statue of Unity plaque with names written only in 10 languages which include only Tamil from South was circulated on the Social Media. Without even cross-checking, Chandrababu and Lokesh commented that discrimination was shown against Telugu People by denying the respect Third Most Spoken Language deserves.
In reality, No such discrimination was shown by people what-so-ever. The official 'Statue of Unity' plaque consists of names of all the languages including Telugu - 'Aikya Bharatam, Shreshta Bharatam'.
AP CM & IT Minister were trolled severely for making an issue out of everything for political mileage. Netizens pointed out that names were written only in English on the plaque of Amaravati Capital City. 'Does Naidu have the moral right to complain even if the plaque he shared was real?,' questions a Telugu Man.
