Andhra Pradesh Reported 10601 Fresh Cases

Andhra Pradesh reported over 10,000 fresh pandemic cases in the past 24 hours with as many as 10,601 fresh Coronavirus infections. With the latest addition of cases, total cases in the state zoomed to 5,17,094.
In the last 24 hours, 70,993 samples were tested and 10,601 patients were found infected with the contagious disease. Andhra Pradesh has tested a total of 42,37,070 samples so far.
On the other hand, 73 patients succumbed to the dreaded virus in a single in the state taking the toll of the total fatalities surpassed 4500-mark and mounted to 4,560.
On a brighter note, the count of recovered cases in the state Quadrupled than that of active cases. The active cases and recovered cases stood at 96,769 and 4,15,765 respectively.
East Godavari region has the highest number of cases in the state with 69,686. Kurnool (49216), Chittor (44614), and Anantapur (46325) are at the next spots on the list.
