AP finds Gautam Sawang's Replacement in Intelligence DGP!

he Andhra Pradesh government had surprised everyone by replacing the serving Director General of Police (DGP) Gautam Sawang with a key official from the Intelligence Department. It is also said that a Government Order confirming the new development was also issued reportedly.
Going by the news carried out by the leading media outlets, the Andhra Pradesh government had issued an order which says that Director General of Police (Intelligence) IPS officer Kasi Reddy VRN Reddy will take the place of Gautam Sawang. The GO was reportedly issued today.
With the alleged development, Gautam Sawang's stint as the DGP comes to an end after close to three years. Before he was appointed the top cop, Sawang used to serve as the Director-General of the Vigilance and Enforcement wing.
Looking at the background of Kasi Reddy VRN Reddy, he is the 1992 batch IPS officer. Earlier last year, he was given the promotion and made the DGP from the Additional DGP.
After the employees successfully carried out the Chalo Vijayawada rally, there were reports that the Andhra Pradesh government wasn't happy with his job. Now the government has reportedly replaced him.
