Ap Floods Mla Flays Telugu Heroes For Not Reacting

YSRCP MLA Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy who always stays in the headlines with his comments and statements has done it yet again. This time, the ruling party legislator who represents the Kovur constituency had targeted the celebrities in the Tollywood film industry and made serious comments against them.
The MLA who was visiting the flood-affected areas in the state had slammed the celebrities for not coming forward to help the victims. The MLA became critical of the celebrities, directors, and producers who remained tight-lipped on the serious issue in the state.
Calling out the celebrities for batting a blind eye towards the havoc created by the flood, the MLA opined that remaining silent and not supporting them in the tough situation is not the right thing. Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy found fault with the celebrities for not even issuing a statement on the situation.
Adding further, the MLA said the senior heroes and star heroes did not respond to the issue and give a statement at least. They became stars because of the people. But when the people were in trouble, there was no response and help from the celebrities. I am demanding them to help the victims, he said.
Coming down on these celebrities for not extending their support for the flood victims when they needed it the most, the legislator had quoted the examples of Sr. NTR and ANR and asked the actors to take an example from the legendary actors.
He made these comments referring to the help made by NTR and ANR to the flood victims. Through donations, the legendary actors have raised one lakh rupees and donated the same to the Chief Minister relief fund. Raising one lakh in those days is a big task.NTR took a break from his work and collected the funds.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh was hit really hard by the flood leaving a heavy toll on the state. Kadapa, Nellore, and Chittoor districts faced severe situations with heavy downpours and floods. Due to the highest downpour, the rainwater even entered the holy shrine of Tirumala. So far, 44 people have lost their lives due to floods.
