The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had decided to put an end to the menace of illegal layouts which trouble the people with some or the issue. To deal with the issue with an iron fist, the government took a key decision.

With a noble cause of putting an end to irregularities of the fraud companies, the government is said to have issued directives saying that illegal layouts' registration process should be stopped.

While announcing the same, the government also directed the concerned department and authorities to make sure that the orders are followed with a fail and also warned that the violators will not be spared.

Going by the information, the DIG rank officials in the Stamps and Registration Department and the district authorities were given strict orders to look out for issues and the layouts with such issues should not be permitted for the registration.

Giving parameters for the eligibility of the registrations of layouts across the state, the Andhra Pradesh government had reportedly said that the clearances from the Directorate of Town & Country Planning is a must and without that no registration should be done.

For the unversed, the approval from the state Directorate of Town and Country Planning is a very crucial aspect for the layouts. If the layout gets the nod for the department then the buyers won't have to face any issues in the future.

The approval is given in a way that the authorities go through various papers and procedures to make sure that the zoning regulations were followed and no violations take place.

The main problem that pops up with the layouts is that the planners sometimes forge the documents to change the zones of registrations. If such violations take place, then there are high chances for the authorities to take down the constructions.

It has to be mentioned here that earlier, the Andhra Pradesh government is said to have asked the realtors and planners to give some portion of land to the government. If not the land, the government also gave an option that they can give money worth of the land.
