AP Government appointed retired IAS Officer Ajeya Kallam as the Principal Advisor of CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Ajeya Kallam will be the head of Chief Minister's Office and have the authority to assign tasks for Secretaries of CMO. All the Advisors of Government are accountable to him. Heads of the Departments can seek his advice on all key matters.
The term of Ajeya Kallam as Principal Advisor to AP CM lasts for 3 years. He will be paid a fixed salary of Rs 2.5 lakh per month. He could receive benefits like TA & DA as per the norms. A Government Vehicle and Accommodation will be provided.
Government passed an order for creation of few temporary posts in the peshi of Principal Advisor to Government. This include Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Private Secretary, Personal Assistant, Drivers and Office Subordinates.
In the next three years, Ajeya Kallam will guide YS Jaganmohan Reddy when it comes to administration. His advices are going to be crucial for the proper functioning of the YCP Government.
