AP Government imposes Night Curfew from April 24

Andhra Pradesh is struggling to fight the unprecedented rise in new Coronavirus infections as the state has been reporting thousands of fresh cases, how it used to report during the peaks of the virus in the first phase.
Amid this tense situation, the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced a night curfew starting from Saturday. The night curfew will be in effect from 10 PM and 5 AM.
The state government announced that during the night curfew, all essential services will be allowed, and said strict action will be taken against those who step out of their houses during the curfew period.
Barring the essential services, all services, offices, businesses will be closed during the curfew period., Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Alla Nani said.
The Andhra Pradesh government announced that people above 18 in the state will be vaccinated for free of cost. The vaccination drive will start from the 1st of May
