Andhra Pradesh Government Issues Unlock 4.0 Guidelines

The Andhra Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy issued guidelines for the Unlocking phase 4.0 in the state.
As per the fresh guidelines, the educational instructions will remain closed till the 30th of September, however IX and X standard students were permitted to attend the schools.
The government gave its nod for the IX and X standard and Intermediate students to attend the schools and colleges respectively from the 21st of September under the guidelines.
The government gave a green signal for the social, academic, sports, cultural, religious congregations and said the attendees for the events should not exceed the limit of 100.
On the other hand, Marriage functions and Funerals can be held in the state with a ceiling of 100 and 20 persons respectively. However, the Cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, and theatres will remain shut until further notice.
Andhra Pradesh reported as many as 10,794 fresh Coronavirus infections on Sunday taking the toll of the total cases to 4,98,125.
With 3,94,019 patients declared cured the virus, the active cases stood at 99,689. So far, 4,417 patients succumbed to the virus.
