AP Government To Sell 4,000 Acres In Vizag?

Recently the state government has announced Rs Rs 6,455 crore in the state government just for the Amma Vodi scheme, one out of the 'Navaratnalu'.The amount was just released for the financial year 2019-20.
For one scheme and that too for one year the state has released more than 6,400 crores and for the remaining schemes and the burden of the scheme will keep on increasing year by year as the count of the beneficiaries grows year by year be it children, senior citizens waiting for pensions.
The Build AP Mission bill which was approved by the State Assembly was constituted to oversee the process of looking at all the possible ways to fund the state. As part of the land polling, the authorities have gathered almost 4,000 acres of land around the executive capital Vishakapatnam.
It has been widely reported that the government is selling these lands for the sake of funding the 'Navaratnalu' scheme. Reportedly CM Jagan has ordered the concerned authorities to look at the possibilities and the legal issues of selling these lands for the scheme.
