CM Jagan is known for his firm nature and strong mind. No matter what the matter is he makes sure that he gives a tough fight. Be it the matter of former SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, Amaravati issues, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had displayed the same nature.

IPS Officer AB Venkateswara Rao, who worked as Intelligence chief in the previous government had to face the wrath of the Jagan government. After coming to power, he was suspended by Jagan and a committee was set up to probe his alleged wrongdoings of him.

The Andhra Pradesh government led by CM Jagan is not showing any intention of leaving AB Venkateswara Rao as a show-cause notice was slapped against him. Finding fault with the former Intelligence Chief calling for a press meet without taking any information, he was served with a memo.

Reports say that the show cause notice was served to AB in the name of Chief Secretary Sameer Sharma. In the notice, the CS had sought an explanation on why he had to speak to the media without permission. He was given a week time to give a response or else further action will be initiated, the memo reportedly says.

Earlier last week, AB held a press meet to rubbish the reports of his involvement in the infamous Pegasus spyware issue. He maintained that fake news is being spread against him. Having said that, he announced his decision of taking legal action against MLAs Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Gudivada Amarnath for spreading fake news. However, AB had attracted show-cause notice in return.
