AP Govt Finished Online Ticketing System Work?

As announced earlier, the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had given special relaxations for high-budget films like RRR and Radhe Shyam. This incident had made people and movie lovers think that the infamous movie ticket rates issue might end soon. However, the state government has other plans.
Media reports are abuzz that the Andhra Pradesh government is focused on the ticket issue and the portal that facilitates the online sale of movie tickets is being readied by the government, and we might soon hear a piece of news on the same from the government.
Not just that, the Andhra Pradesh government even called for the tenders to run the portal and many tenders were received reportedly. Though there is no information on this, a leading ticket-providing service portal is having a high chance of getting the opportunity.
Despite this, the government might take a final call on giving the responsibility to the service portal after looking at various aspects. It is also predicted that a few more tenders might come in the coming days and after comparing all the tenders, the best of all might get a green signal from the government.
It has to be mentioned here that the Andhra Pradesh government had earlier brought a proposal that the government will sell the ticket prices so that it brings transparency and the common people will not have to face the burden of the high ticket prices.
The idea proposed by the Andhra Pradesh government had raised many concerns as selling movie tickets at a lower price will not help the industry and the theatre industry. Many people from the film industry have urged the state government to look into their concerns to help the industry which was badly impacted by the Covid pandemic.
Earlier, a delegation led by Megastar Chiranjeevi met the Andhra Pradesh government and the government took note of the issues mentioned by them. During the meeting, the government had proposed a few conditions for the industry to get a helping hand. However, the likes of Radhe Shyam and RRR were given certain relaxations.
