AP Govt hikes Tirumala-Alipiri toll prices, orders issued

The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to hike the Tirumala-Alipiri toll plaza prices. Official orders have been issued.
The hike in Toll fees came as a result of the demand came in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) meeting held in March 2020. The trust has decided to hike the toll prices.
As a result, the toll prices of Cars / Jeep / Taxi / Tata Ace will be hiked to Rs 50 from the existing Rs 15. The toll fees of Mini Buses and Mini Lorries were increased to Rs 100 from Rs 50.
On the other hand, the buses and heavy vehicles have to pay Rs 200 from now. Earlier the toll fee used to be Rs 100. The Bikers will be exempted as bikes are not chargeable with toll fees.
