AP Govt issues Land Acquisition Notification

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made up his mind to forcefully acquire the multi-crop lands from farmers who opposed Land Pooling in CRDA to meet the target of over 33,000 acres for construction of new capital Amaravathi.
Already, AP Government acquired around 30,000 acres in AP Capital area. Now, Land Acquisition Act will be used to obtain the remaining 3,892 acres.
Inspite of repeated appeals and warning from Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu Naidu is in no mood to change his mind and he is determined to lay the foundation stone as per the fixed date. On Friday, AP Government issued Land Acquisition notification. The GO 304 will give powers to officials to forcibly acquire the lands in Villages falling in Thullur mandal namely Sakamuru, Borupalem, Pichukala Palem, Anthavaram, Ainavolu, Abburajupalem, Dondapalem and Kondamarajupalem.
Land Acquisition notification for another 19 villages will be issued on Saturday. As many as 26 special collectors have been given the charge to handover 3,892 acres of land.
