AP Govt Launches App To Track Purchase Of Medicines

In recent days, people are in fear to approach the medical authorities, and they are hiding the virus symptoms by taking the medication from nearby medical stores. By considering these situations, the government of Andhra Pradesh has come up with an App to track people buying medicines in the state.
On Saturday, the Medical and Health Department of Andhra Pradesh had launched a mobile application, "COVID Pharma" to keep a track on people whoever purchasing medicines for cough, cold and fever from medical stores across the AP.
As per the government directions, the pharmacies will have to note down the details of the purchases and report it to the government while making the over-the-counter purchases. Even the buyer has the doctor prescription, it should be reported.
The Commissioner of Health Katamaneni Baskar said that details collected by the medical shops association over such purchases will be helpful for better monitoring of symptoms of coronavirus.
By following this method, the government can easily track the people whoever having COVID-19 symptoms.
