AP Government Lures Low-Budget Films

AP Government took a major step for the development of Film Industry in the state towards the end of the five years term. In the first move, Rs 10 lakh Special Cash Subsidy and Reimbursement of State's share of GST will be offered for 15 Small-Budget Films per Annum. The budget can't exceed Rs 4 crore.
To avail these special incentives, Certain rules should be followed by the Filmmakers. Have a look at them…
1) Production House Office must be established in AP & get its name registered with APSFTVTDC by paying the prescribed fee
2) Entire Film should be shot in Andhra Pradesh
3) Post-Production Work need to happen in AP and Makers should inform the Corporation about it well in advance
4) Details of entire Budget excluding Remunerations of Artists must be submitted
5) Government Committee should certify the film seeking incentives as a good product.
