AP Has Less Advisors that Govt Want another Advisor?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Aug 2022 12:09 PM GMTIt is no wonder that the Andhra Pradesh government tops the list of facing the highest number of shocks from the courts. Be it High Court or Supreme Court, the state government faced many setbacks on many issues and decisions taken by it. The trend followed yet again.
In what could be a big shock to the government, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh stayed the order to appoint one J.Srikanth as the advisor for the endowments department. The bench of the High Court heard a petition and stayed the order issues for his appointment.
There are many advisors in the state for many departments. As if the existing advisors are not enough the government appointed another advisor. The high court has now issued a stay on the orders.
One cannot understand why the Andhra Pradesh government is on a spree of appointing advisors to various departments. Moreover, the advisors will have lakhs of amount as the salaries followed by a few facilities and benefits.
If we look at the financial situation of the state it is not in a position to afford the new burden. However, the government is not giving focus on financial status. The government is not even able to pay the salaries and pension of employees and beneficiaries respectively.
The opposition parties and experts are showing their concern about where the state is heading with the not-so-good financial position. On the flip side, the government is going forward in appointing more and more advisors.
