By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Sept 2020 12:28 PM ISTThe Andhra Pradesh High Court which heard a petition on liquor bottles ruled out in favor of liquor lovers and said a person can bring three liquor bottles from other states.
While ruling out, the High Court issued directions to implement the G.O 411 which allows a person to carry three liquor bottles with them from other states.
The case reached the High Court after a petition filed a writ petition in the High Court. In the petition, the petitioner maintained that despite the G.O 411 permits people from bringing liquor bottles from other states, police are allowing them to do so.
The High Court's verdict can be cited as a sigh of relief for the liquor lovers in the state who are facing problems with the state government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cut shorting the liquor outlets.
