AP Reports 657 Fresh Infections

The situation in Andhra Pradesh is turning out to be worse from bad as the state is reporting fresh infections every single day. With 657 fresh infections, the total cases in the state mounted to 15252.
The health department issued a health bulletin in this regard in which the department said, 28,239 samples were tested in the past 24 hours and 657 new infections were detected.
Out of the newly reported cases, 611 infections were of locals, while 39 Returnees of other states and seven Foreign Returnees were infected with the respiratory disease.
On the other hand, six people succumbed to the dreaded virus which takes the total fatalities in the state in connection with the ongoing pandemic to 193.
With, 342 people managed to recover from the deadly virus in the past 24 hours, the total recoveries in the state zoomed to 6988, while the 8071 patients were being treated at the hospitals.
Looking at the worst-affected districts in the state due to the ongoing pandemic, Kurnool tops the list with 2045 infections, followed by Anantapur(1689) and Krishna(1519).
