AP Local Body Polls: Demand To Accept Nomination Online Gets Momentum!
X
Despite the Supreme Court giving its green signal for the Local Body elections in Andhra Pradesh, the election row continue to go through several twists and turns with each day passing.

With no option left other than going to the polls, the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy focused on winning the panchayats unanimously. The government announced incentives for the Panchayat which wins the polls unanimously.

As an unwanted development, the leaders and Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner(SEC) Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar are indulging in a war of words over the polls.

The leaders of the ruling YSRCP are alleging that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is working in a way to benefit a particular party.

However, the SEC is not happy with the leaders making personal comments against him over the polls. Quoting the orders of the Supreme Court, he asked why the leaders are attacking him personally

On top of all these developments, the opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh are batting for the recommendation to accept the election nominations online to counter the unanimous polls.

The leaders of the BJP-Jana Sena alliance met Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan on Thursday to request him to take the required measures to see that the polls are held with conspiracy.

Now it is said that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, who earlier slammed the government for giving paper advertisements on the grants for the Panchayats is working to accept the nominations online.

It is interesting to know, whether the nominations for the Panchayat elections will be accepted online or not. We might get clarity on this in a few days.

The AP government has a completely different story and clarification of winning the Panchayats unanimously. The government said winning the Panchayats unanimously will keep an end to fights during the polls.
