AP makes It To The No 1 Position In The Ease Of Doing Business Index

On the other hand, fellow Telugu state Telangana which is attracting huge inventions compared to Andhra Pradesh is at the third spot in the index of ease of doing business
The Department of Industrial Promotion and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the index of the ease of doing business.
The index was released through a video conference under the leadership of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Union minister of commerce Piyush Goyal was also present at the video conference.
The rankings were given to the states after taking the transparency in governance and the investor-friendly commitment offred by the respective states. The situations in the states during the months of January and February were taken into account.
While AP topped the list in South India, UP in North Indian states, West Bengal in East Indian states, Madhya Pradesh in West Indian states, and Assam in North-Eastern states bagged the top spot.
