AP Reports 1,322 Fresh Infections In 24 Hours

In what it could be a shocker, Andhra Pradesh reported 1,322 fresh infections in the past 24 hours, which marks the heist single-day cases in the state so far. With this, the total cases zoomed to 20,019.
The health bulletin released by the health department stated, in the past 24 hours 16,712 samples were tested and 1,322 infections were detected. With seven fresh casualties, the total fatalities increased to 239.
Out of the freshly reported cases, 1,263 infections were of locals, while 56 Returnees of other states and three Foreign Returness contacted the respiratory disease.
Looking at the recoveries, in the past 24 hours, 424 people managed to receiver from the virus taking the total recoveries in the state to 8,920. While 10,860 have been treated at various hospitals.
Kurnool(2,587), Anantapur(2,328), Guntur(2,024), Krishna(1,798), and East Godavari(1,778) turned out as the hotspots for the virus as these districts account for around 70% of the total infections.
