Rs 2.5 Crore For Lokesh's Felicitation?

As per the media reports, Total expenditure of Nara Lokesh felicitation ceremony could be anywhere around Rs 2.5 crore. Employees who got benefitted with the Upadi Hami Scheme (NREGA) will be showing their gratitude to the AP Minister in this regard.
Opposition Parties allege State Government has been diverting Rs 2.5 crore funds of NREGA Scheme for the felicitation ceremony of CM's Son. They question, 'How could Lokesh receive felicitation when 90 percent of the funds were sponsored by the Union Government? As many as 15,000 employees of NREGA Scheme have been mobilised for the felicitation ceremony by TDP. Tour of AP Capital region was arranged on Wednesday morning. From 3 PM, Employees will have to take part in the felicitation ceremony holding 'Thank You Lokesh Garu' placards'.
If the reports are true, AP Government is yet to clear pending bills worth Rs 360 crore under NREGA scheme.
Nara Lokesh is likely to make an announcement over increase of salaries for NREGA Employees during the felicitation ceremony. Opposition Parties complain that it's another attempt of the Ruling Party to gain political mileage ahead of the elections.
