Speaking in the house, Finance Minister of AP, Buggana Rajendranath has lashed out at the TDP party and said the party has purchased 4070 acres of land the districts of Krishna and Guntur before announcing the capital region.
"In the time between Chandrababu's oath ceremony and announcing capital, TDP leaders acquired these lands for nominal prices simultaneously diverted the people's attention. When the capital was announced, one acre of land sold for Rs 10 crore which means there is a scam of Rs 40,000 crore. TDP chief Chandrababu bought 14.2 acres at Kanteru village in the name of Heritage group," the Minister said.
The Minister went on to say that, the Sivaramakrishna committee which was constituted by the Centre clearly said that Amaravati is not good for the capital. He also said that the TDP government appointed the Narayana committee, ignoring the Sivaramakrishna committee.
