AP New Capital - Facts & Highlights!

AP Government declared what its gonna do with the thousands of acres collected by it through the Land Pooling Process in the Capital region. Out of 33,000 crore, About 25% of the developed plots with be given to Farmers & Land Owners who took part in LPP. While 50% of the land would be preferred for roads, drainage and other infrastructure, Remaining 25% will be offered to companies for taking up development works.
The Core Capital City master plan will be handed over to AP Government by Singapore in June this year. A master plan for 210-km Outer Ringh Road covering the AP Capital will be ready by May 15th.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's top priority is to complete the First Phase of AP Capital before 2019 General Elections. He takes the responsibility of giving back the developed plots to farmers after the completion of all the phases. So, He is constantly trying to attract multi-national companies to invest in AP Capital for a rapid growth.
Naidu wishes to ensure there is good road, rail and air connectivity in AP Capital to meet the demands of future generations. He hints the population in AP Capital will go up to 11 million by 2030 from current 5.8 million and 20 million by 2050. As a result, 5 bridges across the Krishna river, Expressways, Freight Corridors and Connectivity to Ports will be established.
