AP Panchayat Polls: Kodali Nani faces a super jolt

YSRCP leader, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao aka Nani faced a super jolt, yet again with the election results of Yalamarru village.
Kolluri Anusha, a candidate supported by the opposition TDP emerged victoriously by defeating the YSRCP candidate with a margin of over 800 votes. Yalamarru is Nani's native place.
The victory gave a reason for the TDP leaders and cadre to celebrate. The TDP cadre celebrated his victory with fireworks and they carried out a rally too.
Looking at the results of Nandivada village in Gidivada. The candidates supported by the TDP have won nine out of the 20 villages. The TDP has won the Panchayats unanimously.
The ruling YSRCP faced one more set back with TDP supported candidate Nagireddy Sathish Rao winning the Hasanbad Panchayat. It is the native village of YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose.
The opposition TDP which couldn't leave a mark in the first phase of the elections started picking up gradually in the second phase. The TDP cadre is hopeful of improving the performance in the next phases.
