AP Player gets limelight with heroics in U19 WC!

The U-19 Indian team had scripted history and lifted the World Cup. The trophy marks the fifth U-19 trophy for India. After the stunning victory, the young team is being lauded by one and all. From former players to cricket fans, everyone is showering praises on the winning team.
Out of the team, one player is getting a wide range of attention for his heroics with the bat throughout the tournament. His innings in the semis and finals made India's work easy to make it to the victory in the crucial matches.
Andhra Cricketer Shaik Rasheed, who served the team as the vice-captain played a vital role in taking the Indian team towards the victory. In the semis and finals, Shaik Rasheed scored 94 and a brilliant half-century respectively.
Now he became the hero for the team with his heroics. But he had an inspirational story and his family made valuable sacrifices that made wonders for the player and the Indian team. Despite facing financial issues, Rasheed's family did not stop him from playing cricket.
He has a strong will of playing cricket no matter what. His will is so strong that he joined the squad after beating the Covid virus. Even after contracting the virus, he did not lose faith in himself and that resulted in making his family proud.
Seeing the enthusiasm in Rasheed, his family decided to support him. To see that Rasheed practices daily, his father drops and picks him daily. Recalling the hard work of Rasheed, his father said he is quite happy with what his son had done. He added that he wants to see his son representing India at the national level.
Former India chief selector MSK Prasad was so impressed with Rasheed's performance that he predicted that Rasheed will fit better at the No.3 position in the white-ball format and Test format for India and said that the days to see this are very near.
On the other hand, celebrations erupt in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur after the U-19 World Cup where he belongs. It is also said that the young cricketer is likely to get facilitated for his heroics in his home state.
