Telugu state Andhra Pradesh is dealing with a steady power cut and the power cut issue is quite high in a few regions. As a result, many regions have to face power cuts that last for long hours. The opposition parties are already targeting the Andhra Pradesh government on the issue.
As an example of how severe the power cut issue is in Andhra Pradesh, a horrific incident was reported where doctors had to operate on a pregnant lady using the cell phone torch lights as there is no power in the hospital facility. The heart-wrenching incident had brought tears to many.
Going into detail, the horrific incident is believed to have been reported from Narsipatnam town. During the late hours, a woman who hails from Krishnadevipatnam was rushed to the NTR Government Hospital. As she was having labor pains, she was taken to the hospital. Sadly, the generator did not work.
The doctors at the hospital had no other option left except for operating on her with the help of torchlight on mobile phones. While the helping staff held the torches for them, they had successfully operated the women. Thankfully, both mother and infant are doing well.
Luckily, the pregnant woman got away with the horrible situation and it would have been a disaster if anything would have gone wrong. Her family members are questioning the power cuts even for the medical facilities. They wonder why the generator was also not working at the hospital.
