Pandemic Infections In AP Surpassed 6 Lakh-Mark

The fresh infections of the ongoing pandemic continue to surge in Andhra Pradesh on a daily basis. With the latest addition of the fresh infections, total cases in the state rose to over 6 lakh
According to the information provided by the media bulletin, as many as 77492 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and 8,702 infections were detected taking the toll of the total cases to 6,01,462. So far, a total of 48,84,371 samples have been tested.
The rising number of fresh fatalities in the state is a matter of concern as the fresh casualties are mounting up day by day. So far, 5,177 people succumbed to the virus in the state including 72 fresh casualties.
The recoveries of the virus which has been increasing in the state gradually rose to a mammoth 5,08,088 as 10,712 patients were recovered from the virus in a single day. The active cases stood at 88,197.
East Godavari region yet again reported the highest number of fresh cases in a single day with 1383 cases followed by West Godavari(1065), Chittor(905), Prakasham(705), and Kadapa(637).
