AP Reported 2593 Fresh Infections In 24 Hours

In a rather shocking development, Andhra Pradesh reported as many as 2593 fresh infections in the past 24 houses, which marks the highest hop of cases in a single day.
With the latest addition, total infections in the state zoomed to 38044. In the past 24 hours, 40 people succumbed to the dreaded virus and the total fatalities in the state mounted to 492.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 22,304 samples were tested for the disease, 2593 people were found positive for the respiratory disease. 943 patients managed to recover from the virus and the total recoveries zoomed to 19393, while the state has 18,159.
According to the health bulletin, out of the newly reported cases, 2,584 infections were detected in the locals, while 9 returnees of the other states contacted the contagious disease.
