AP Reports 704 Fresh Cases, Toll Mounted To 11,595

The fresh infections of the respiratory disease continue to rise in Andhra Pradesh, with 704 fresh reported in the state in the past 24 hours. With this, the total infections mounted to 11,595.
As per the health bulletin released by the Department of Health, Medical, and Family Welfare, 18,114 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, and 704 people were found positive for the contagious disease.
Out of the newly reported cases, 648 were of locals, while 51 state Returnees and Foreign Returnees were tested positive for the virus. With seven fresh casualties, the total fatalities in the state in connection with the respiratory disease mounted to 187.
On the other hand, 258 people managed to receiver from the disease in the past 24 hours, taking the total recoveries in the state to 6511, while the active cases stood at 7897.
