AP Speaker urges People to pressurize Centre

Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has appealed people of Andhra Pradesh to join hands for mounting pressure on Centre to grant Special Category Status.

Kodela slammed Union Government for failing to keep its promises made in Parliament. He opined that contradictory statements made by people at the helm of affairs in NDA Government has only been creating confusion among the people.

The Senior Politician opined bifurcation has pushed AP into severe crisis mode. "Hyderabad which was developed so well in undivided AP is the sole reason behind bifurcation. AP has got every right to receive Special Status Category," he states.

The Speaker expressed the view that only a strong movement will make NDA Government accord Special Status to AP. Will the people of AP pay heed to what Kodela has been saying?
