It has been reported that AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to set up a University for skill development to training the youth of the state.

To increase the skills among the students studying Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Polytechnic, Engineering and other technical courses Jagan has decided that a college should be set up in every constituency and all those colleges should be affiliated to Universities. For better working, all the departments of the government will be coordinating with the university.

To improve the skills of the students they will be given a one-year apprenticeship and it will also be extended up to six months if needed said the statement given by the CMO.

Reportedly, Jagan held a meeting with the concerned officials regarding and prepared some guidelines to introduce new employment-based courses.

For the smooth functioning of the university and for undertaking the skill development program and IAS officer would be appointed in three to four days. The funds required for this will be granted by the Finance department.

Reportedly, Jagan has decided to digitalize the employment exchange and an application like Ola and Uber will also be provided.
