By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Oct 2014 12:04 PM GMTApple CEO Tim Cook claimed he is a gay and proud to be that way. This news has created a sensation all over the World.
Tim Cook: "For years, I've been open with many people about my sexual orientation. Plenty of colleagues at Apple know I'm gay, and it doesn't seem to make a difference in the way they treat me... While I have never denied my sexuality, I haven't publicly acknowledged it either, until now. So let me be clear: I'm proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me,"
Apparently, Tim Cook joined Apple in 1998 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations. He became the Chief Executive Office (CEO) of Apple Inc. in August 2011 as a successor to Steve Jobs. Tim Cook served as acting CEO when Steve Jobs went on medical leave after he was diagnosed with Cancer.
