The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the APSRTC has supported Telangana RTC workers who have been on strike for 25 days to meet their demands. APSRTC JAC leaders met Telangana RTC labor leaders at the Vidyanagar Employees Union office on Tuesday. On this occasion, the leaders of the APSRTC JAC demanded the Telangana government to fulfill the legitimate demands of RTC workers.

JAC leader Thomas Reddy urged the implementation of the AP policies in Telangana, it is the duty of the state government to run the buses smoothly, as it is a private service.

KCR chief Minister of Telangana said that he will decide the fate of RTC employees in five to six days and that all he needs a sign an order to give private vehicles permit to operate on TSRTC routes. "let him do it who comes forward, let us see which private operator comes forward to run private buses in Hyderabad, and incurs losses. Telangana does not have good connectivity and hence buses are the lifeline of public transport,"

Thomas Reddy said in a press conference He added instead of talking about the states which do not have state-run buses, KCR should look at Andhra Pradesh, Maharastra, Karnataka, Gujarat which have the same.
