APSRTC To Resume Its Operations From 18th May
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 May 2020 10:49 AM ISTFollowing the extension of the existing lockdown, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Centre gave some relations and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation(IRCTC) started its first phase of operations and the ticket bookings for the trains were also started.
Now Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation(APSRTC) also joined the list and geared up to resume its operations from the 18th of this month which marks the fourth phase of the lockdown.
Following the Coronavirus outbreak, only 50% of passengers will be allowed in the buses and the requited arrangements were being made by the RTC. Earlier the Vijayawada RTC authorities designed 26 seater luxury seats by cutting sort 10 seats.
As the conductor system will be suspended for some time, the online ticket system will come into existence and special ticket vending systems will be arranged at the bus stops so that the virus is not spared further.
