Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha surprised everyone by floating a new political party on Friday. Jana Jagruthi Party is the name of this new political outfit.
In the publicity material, Kothapalli Geetha conveyed 'Marpu Kosam Mundadugu' is the tagline for her party. She projects herself as the Leader walking in the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar, Abdul Kalam, Jyotirao Phule and Mother Teresa. Umbrella is being projected as the party symbol. Facebook Page, Twitter Handle and Youtube Channel of the new party has been launched.
Kothapalli Geetha could be banking on SC and ST Communities. Whether or not she will be able to withstand facing strong forces like TDP, YCP and Jana Sena is a million dollar question.
In 2014, Kothapalli Geetha won on YCP Ticket but moved close to TDP soon after the election and maintained good relations with BJP in the past two years. Will Leaders and People show faith in such an opportunistic politician?
