Arrest Warrant Issued Against Renuka

Second Additional First Class Court in Khammam District on Friday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant to Renuka Chowdary in connection with a cheating case.
Kalavathy Bai (W/o Ramji Naik) filed a case accusing Renuka Chowdhary of cheating her husband to the tune of Rs 1.3 crore assuring Wyra Assembly Ticket in 2014 Elections. The Congress Leader is facing the allegation of not returning the money to Ramji Naik even after the ticket was denied to him by the party. He went into depression and passed away on October 14th, 2014. A case was booked in this regard at the Khanapur Police Station under Sections 420, 417 of the Indian Penal Code.
Court served notices to Renuka Chowdary in this case. The Former MP, however, continued to skip the hearing and she is now facing the threat of arrest.
Renuka Chowdary has unsuccessfully contested on Congress Ticket in the recent Lok Sabha Elections from Khammam Constituency. TRS Candidate Nama Nageswara Rao had the last laugh.
